Safeguarding Statement.
Indonesian Catholic Family Brisbane - Gold Coast is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for everyone in our community, especially children, young people, and vulnerable adults. We uphold the principles of dignity, care, and protection in all our activities, and we expect all members to act with integrity and responsibility. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and we are dedicated to creating a culture of transparency, accountability, and trust.
Each Parish in the Archdiocese of Brisbane has a Local Safeguarding Representative who is responsible for:
Making sure that the whole parish is aware of the importance of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults,
Promoting safe practices including articulating for others what is appropriate and inappropriate behaviour; and
Assisting the Parish Administrator in the implementation of the Archdiocesan Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy in the Parish.
If you would like to report any incidents or information about suspected abuse, harm, and other serious misconduct by Archdiocesan workers, including priests, religious, employees, and volunteers, contact the Safeguarding Representative or the Archdiocese of Brisbane STOPline Service through the link below.
